About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential enterprise software organization seeking a Lead Deployment Architect in Munich. Our client is a global leader in process intelligence and AI-driven business transformation, working with the world's most recognized enterprises to deliver measurable, business-critical outcomes.
In this senior technical role, you'll serve as the architectural authority for strategic customer engagements, designing end-to-end solutions that combine deep platform expertise with domain knowledge and customer strategy. You'll shape how AI-augmented delivery works at scale, set standards for solution quality, and build trusted advisor relationships with C-level stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Design complex enterprise solution architectures spanning multiple process areas, business units, and geographies for strategic accounts
- Support pre-sales scoping to ensure proposed solutions align with delivery capabilities and architectural best practices
- Define technical blueprints for platform integration with customer systems, data strategies, and transformation goals
- Make architectural trade-off decisions on build vs. configure, custom vs. standard approaches with clear outcome-based rationale
- Design AI agent orchestration patterns for complex multi-workstream engagements, including validation checkpoints and quality gates
- Develop reusable specifications, templates, and delivery patterns that enable teams to leverage AI agents effectively
- Serve as senior technical advisor to VP and C-level stakeholders, translating business challenges into platform strategies
- Conduct solution design reviews and ensure delivery teams follow architectural standards across your portfolio
- Work hands-on with deployment engineers on the most complex and cutting-edge customer use cases
- Maintain deep expertise in one or more process domains (Supply Chain, Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, IT Service Management) or industry verticals
- Contribute to hiring, knowledge sharing, and organizational capability development
- Provide feedback loops between customer insights and product development teams
What We're Looking For
- 8+ years in technical consulting, solution architecture, or delivery leadership within enterprise software, consulting firms, or system integrators
- 3+ years minimum in a senior or lead technical role with multi-stakeholder responsibility in large-scale projects at tier-1 organizations
- Expert-level knowledge of process intelligence platforms, including data modeling, advanced query languages, automation engines, and AI modules
- Proven ability to design complex, multi-component solutions spanning data integration, process intelligence, automation, and AI
- Deep understanding of enterprise architecture patterns, trade-offs, and scalability for high-concurrency environments
- Demonstrated experience designing AI-augmented delivery workflows and multi-agent system design
- Working knowledge of Python to push platform boundaries
- Deep domain expertise in at least one major process area or industry vertical
- Track record building trusted advisor relationships with VP and C-level executives
- Experience navigating complex IT landscapes and communicating technical trade-offs to senior leadership
- Exceptional ability to translate between technical and business audiences
- Demonstrated leadership in mentoring technical staff and setting quality standards
- Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, Technology Management, Business Informatics, or comparable field
- Fluency in English and German required
