(Senior) Course Operations Manager*in (d/m/w)

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential education organization in Berlin that delivers professional development programs. They need a Course Operations Manager to own the end-to-end operational flow of their training courses, ensuring smooth delivery from day one through completion.

You'll be the central point of contact for course operations, coordinating between multiple stakeholders, managing physical locations across Germany, and continuously optimizing processes. This is a hands-on role where you'll solve problems pragmatically, translate between departments and participants, and keep many moving parts running smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end course operations from launch to completion, ensuring operational deadlines are met across all stakeholder groups
• Serve as the central contact for course delivery, translating between departments and participants, finding quick solutions to last-minute issues
• Manage physical training locations in Berlin, Hamburg, Bielefeld, and Munich; maintain relationships with on-site contacts and drive location scaling
• Continuously review existing processes to identify optimization, automation, or streamlining opportunities; maintain user-oriented documentation
• Lead multi-stakeholder projects from identified improvements through to completion, coordinating internal and external participants
• Manage external partners including co-working spaces, publishers, and certification bodies; negotiate contracts and ensure their work supports successful course delivery

What We're Looking For

• Completed university degree or apprenticeship in business, social sciences, or natural sciences
• Several years of hands-on experience in dynamic start-up or scale-up environments, ideally with multi-stakeholder projects and operations focus
• Strong problem-solving skills: you quickly understand different perspectives, find proactive independent solutions, and see possibilities where others see constraints
• Hands-on mentality: you're comfortable with spontaneous new tasks, take on short-term responsibility, and thrive on variety
• Stakeholder and project management experience: you structure complex projects, coordinate closely with participants to meet deadlines, prioritize independently, and keep multiple initiatives running simultaneously
• Excellent communication abilities: you understand problems quickly and explain solutions clearly so all stakeholders feel supported
• Agile working style: you adapt quickly to new situations and feel comfortable in flexible environments requiring work at different altitudes
• Tech and AI affinity: you learn new tools quickly and are eager to explore AI opportunities to simplify your work
• Fluent German (minimum C1 level), written and spoken

Position Details

Location: Berlin (hybrid: 3 days per week in office at Alexanderplatz, including 2 fixed team days plus 1 flexible day)

Employment Type: Full-time, permanent contract

Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
