Corporate FP&A – Financial Planning

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential global consumer technology organization in their search for a Corporate FP&A – Financial Planning professional. Our client operates a portfolio of digital products at significant scale, serving hundreds of millions of users worldwide. This is a remote opportunity with optional relocation support to Barcelona.

As a strategic finance partner, you will report to the Director of FP&A and own the central financial planning architecture for a fast-growing, profitable digital business. You will build the master consolidation model, manage the corporate budget cycle, and evaluate complex portfolio allocation decisions. This role sits at the intersection of strategic long-range planning and tactical cash management, supporting both growth capital deployment and institutional credit facility oversight.

Responsibilities

• Design and own the global budget-setting and forecasting process, building corporate top-down models and coordinating bottom-up inputs from business finance partners across the portfolio
• Maintain rolling monthly forecasts and manage the continuous alignment of strategic plans with operational performance
• Build integrated three-statement long-range planning models to evaluate strategic options, capital structure decisions, and enterprise valuation scenarios
• Own and execute a rigorous 13-week rolling cash flow forecast to manage short-term liquidity
• Integrate marketing capital allocation outputs into the central business plan, reconciling deployment decisions against cash reserves and growth capital constraints
• Track and optimize institutional credit facility compliance, monitoring drawdowns and covenant thresholds, and producing reporting for lending partners
• Architect cost allocation frameworks to distribute centralized overhead across individual product-level P&Ls for fully loaded unit economics
• Build dynamic, driver-based scenario models to simulate ecosystem changes and marketing performance shifts using core growth metrics (ROAS, LTV, CAC)
• Prepare board materials and collaborate with talent acquisition to align hiring plans with approved budget constraints
• Support integration between corporate planning tools and underlying data systems, ensuring clean synchronization of actuals and performance metrics

What We're Looking For

• 3-6 years of experience in Corporate FP&A, Strategic Finance, Investment Banking, or Transaction Advisory, ideally within high-growth B2C digital platforms, mobile applications, or gaming
• Expert-level proficiency in both strategic valuation structures (multi-year three-statement planning) and tactical liquidity controls (13-week cash forecasting)
• Mastery of driver-based financial modeling in Microsoft Excel with exposure to modern AI-assisted workflows (LLM add-ins such as Claude for Excel)
• Strong understanding of mobile ecosystem economics, including subscription models, app store dynamics, and key growth metrics (ROAS, LTV, CAC, cohort analysis)
• Experience or familiarity with cloud ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) and business intelligence platforms (Looker or similar)
• Exposure to multi-dimensional enterprise performance management tools (Pigment, Anaplan, or Workday Adaptive) is highly valued
• High-autonomy operator with exceptional individual contributor skills: proactive, urgent, and detail-obsessed with technical model integrity
• Strong collaborative skills across decentralized teams with the ability to pressure-test assumptions and extract key variables from operational partners
• Forward-looking mindset treating finance as a strategic growth partner rather than administrative oversight
• Comfortable working in modern digital workflows (Slack, Notion, Google Workspace)
