Sr. Merchandiser – US Teva Wholesale

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential footwear and apparel organization in their search for a Senior Merchandiser to lead wholesale channel execution. This remote role focuses on strategic assortment planning, cross-functional collaboration, and driving financial performance for a major outdoor brand's wholesale business across the United States.

We are seeking an experienced merchandising professional who can lead seasonal planning, develop compelling product assortments, and partner with stakeholders across planning, marketing, product development, and operations to deliver results.

Responsibilities

• Lead sales, receipt, margin, and style-color count targets seasonally for the US Wholesale channel, aligning with brand strategies and market trends
• Develop and execute wholesale assortments that meet consumer requirements and financial objectives
• Collaborate with regional merchandising teams on future product needs to ensure innovative offerings and flawless marketplace execution
• Build partnerships across DTC, product development, marketing, ecommerce, operations, supply planning, merchandise planning, and consumer analytics teams
• Present merchandise strategy and seasonal goals to inform inventory targets and top-down business objectives
• Deliver presentations during key go-to-market milestone meetings, quarterly business reviews, and monthly business reviews
• Partner with merchandise planning and marketing to ensure forecasts reflect product initiatives, brand strategy, and demand plans
• Identify in-season opportunities through retail metrics analysis and develop profitable growth plans across product categories
• Travel 15-20% annually as needed

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum 7 years of experience in footwear and/or apparel merchandising, preferably within wholesale merchandising and planning
• Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel, retail math, and data-driven decision making
• Proven ability to influence and drive results through collaboration, accountability, and effective stakeholder management
• Demonstrated leadership in building compelling product assortments and driving brand and business results
• Experience leading cross-functional partners in a matrixed environment, including merchandising, planning, marketing, ecommerce, and product teams
• Strong business acumen with ability to identify opportunities, assess marketplace trends, and develop actionable strategies
• Exceptional communication, presentation, negotiation, and storytelling skills with ability to tailor messages to diverse audiences
• Must reside in one of the following states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Indiana, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Texas, Utah, or Washington
