About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential management consulting firm specializing in the public sector across Germany. We are seeking a (Senior) Consultant with deep expertise in organizational development and strategy to join their Düsseldorf office. This role offers the opportunity to lead transformation projects for municipalities, public institutions, and large organizations navigating critical future challenges.

As a trusted advisor, you will take ownership of client engagements, drive business development, and deliver sustainable organizational change through systemic consulting approaches.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute consulting projects of varying scope within the public sector, addressing diverse organizational needs
• Analyze organizational structures, identify change opportunities and challenges, and co-develop tailored strategies and solutions with clients
• Provide strategic advisory services to help organizations build resilience and future-readiness
• Acquire new projects, maintain client relationships, and expand your professional network
• Support clients through complex transformation initiatives, ensuring measurable impact and lasting change
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions across organizational development and process optimization

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 2-3 years of management consulting experience, with demonstrated project leadership across multiple client contexts, ideally including public administration or large corporate environments
• Strong analytical capabilities for identifying resistance points, risks, and opportunities within organizational change processes
• Deep expertise in a consulting-relevant discipline such as organizational development or process optimization
• Exceptional communication skills and service orientation, with proven ability to engage stakeholders from frontline staff to C-suite executives
• High conflict resolution competence and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility and adaptability to shifting requirements and priorities
• Interest in technological trends, particularly AI, with ideally some experience understanding their organizational implications
• Willingness to travel regularly for client engagements
• Fluency in German is required; English proficiency is valued
