Epic Systems Analyst – Health Plan Tapestry

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential healthcare organization in their search for an Epic Systems Analyst - Health Plan Tapestry. This role sits within the IT applications team and focuses on operational support, change management, and ongoing maintenance of Epic systems. You'll work closely with stakeholders across the organization to ensure optimal system performance and facilitate clinical workflows.

Location: United States
Schedule: 8 AM - 4:30 PM, 8-hour shift, weekend coverage as needed
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Provide operational support and troubleshooting for Epic Health Plan Tapestry applications
• Perform system configuration, testing, and change management following established protocols
• Conduct analysis of user needs and requirements through stakeholder interaction and workflow review
• Collaborate with the help desk to educate users and resolve technical issues
• Participate in project initiatives including scope definition, testing plan development, and implementation
• Monitor system health using application-specific tools and ensure high availability
• Coordinate with vendors and manage communication across internal and external stakeholders
• Develop and execute test scripts covering standard functionality, workflows, and system configurations
• Follow security policies, change management procedures, and disaster recovery protocols
• Document problem analysis, root cause identification, and resolution recommendations

What We're Looking For

Required:

• 3+ years of experience in a health system involving systems analysis and/or information technology
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project, and Project Web App
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with sound judgment and discretion
• Excellent written and oral communication abilities for technical and non-technical audiences
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prepare deliverables on short notice
• Experience with application configuration, testing, and change management

Preferred:

• Bachelor's degree in Health Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Nursing, or Healthcare Administration
• Epic certification in Health Plan Tapestry or related modules
• Lean Six Sigma White Belt certification
• Experience with Epic workflows in a health plan or payer environment
