Werkstudent Asset Management (m/w/d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential renewable energy organization seeking a working student (Werkstudent) to support their Asset Management team in Dresden. This role offers hands-on experience managing wind, solar, and energy storage projects while contributing to the energy transition.

Our client operates across Germany and parts of Europe, focusing on long-term project development and operations. As part of their Asset Management team, you'll gain exposure to both the technical and commercial aspects of renewable energy portfolio management.

Responsibilities

• Support the Asset Management team with commercial and technical operations of wind, solar, and storage projects
• Assist in evaluating operational data and analyzing plant performance and yields
• Help prepare reports, analyses, and management presentations
• Maintain and update project, contract, and asset databases
• Support coordination and documentation of maintenance, repair, and optimization activities
• Assist communication with operations managers, service providers, and project stakeholders
• Provide administrative and technical support to Asset Management, Project Development, and M&A teams
• Contribute to internal process optimization and manage small independent projects

What We're Looking For

• Currently enrolled in a degree program in Industrial Engineering, Renewable Energy, Energy Technology, Business Administration, Electrical Engineering, or comparable field
• Prior practical experience through internships or working student positions is advantageous
• Interest in renewable energy and both technical and commercial aspects of asset management
• Analytical thinking with a structured, solution-oriented approach to complex issues
• Independent, careful, and reliable work style with high quality standards
• Strong communication and teamwork skills with enthusiasm for collaborating with diverse internal and external partners
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel; strong IT affinity and interest in working with data and digital tools
• Basic knowledge of technical or commercial analysis and ERP or BI systems is a plus
• German language skills at native level (C2 according to CEFR) and good English proficiency
• Availability for at least 12 months with minimum 13 hours per week (flexible scheduling)

Pay

This position offers €16 per hour with flexible working time arrangements.
