About This Opportunity
Our talent team is representing a confidential contract research organization specializing in dermatology and rheumatology therapeutic areas. We are seeking a Clinical Research Associate II to join their Poland-based team in a remote capacity. This position is ideal for experienced CRAs who value autonomy, therapeutic specialization, and the opportunity to make visible contributions within a focused research environment.
Responsibilities
As a Clinical Research Associate II, you will:
- Conduct site qualification, initiation, monitoring, and close-out visits for research sites according to monitoring plans, SOPs, ICH-GCP guidelines, and applicable regulations
- Participate in investigator meetings and build productive relationships with site staff to achieve study objectives, including patient recruitment targets
- Prepare site visit reports and follow-up correspondence to investigators
- Perform source data verification and ensure proper on-site study drug storage, dispensing, accountability, data collection, and regulatory document collection
- Review and approve site visit reports prepared by other team members
- Track site visit and trip report metrics and escalate issues to project teams with recommended solutions
- Support the development of annotated site visit reports, clinical monitoring plans, and monitoring tools
- Mentor CRAs and support the preparation of training materials
- Conduct on-site quality control visits with CRAs
What We're Looking For
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in a field relevant to clinical research, nursing degree, or equivalent experience
Experience and Skills:
- 2 to 5 years of experience conducting on-site clinical monitoring in biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or CRO environments
- Exposure to dermatology and/or rheumatology therapeutic areas required
- Strong knowledge of ICH/GCP standards and applicable regulatory requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to prioritize multiple assignments and work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and meeting timelines
- Strong judgment and problem-solving capabilities
- Willingness to travel to research sites approximately 65% of the time
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Legal authorization to work in Poland
