Co-Founder & CEO – AI LegalTech | AI-Native Litigation Defence Operations

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential venture studio in their search for a Co-Founder & CEO to lead an AI-native litigation operations venture currently in build. This is a founder equity opportunity, not a salaried position.

The venture serves as an autopilot for medical-records and discovery operations targeting small-to-mid insurance-defense firms. The platform embeds in case-management systems to retrieve and review records, flag key facts with confidence links, check billing reasonableness, and chronologically triage discovery. This human-gated system excludes legal drafting, allowing firms to scale case volume without adding headcount.

Market validation through discovery interviews has confirmed strong demand in an underserved segment of the legal technology market, where insurance-defense firms currently use zero AI and face immediate ROI-driven payback opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Set venture strategy, including ideal customer profile refinement, size-tiered pricing models, and product positioning
• Lead customer development through pilots with managing partners and claims/litigation-operations leads at small-to-mid insurance-defense firms
• Convert design partners to paid engagements and build the go-to-market motion
• Partner with embedded product and engineering resources to ship V1 and iterate based on user feedback
• Lead seed fundraising efforts with network support and traction validation
• Recruit and lead the founding team while establishing cultural foundation

What We're Looking For

• Previous founding experience at a venture-backed company
• Demonstrated success in B2B AI or B2B SaaS go-to-market, including consultative, relationship-driven sales and customer engagement
• Fundraising fluency with ability to develop investor narratives and close capital
• Proven ability to attract, develop, and retain top talent
• Clear-eyed understanding of the risks and demands of co-founding a venture-backed company
• Deep domain expertise in insurance defense or claims operations, including pre-litigation records and discovery, legal billing review, and litigation case management
