About This Opportunity
Our talent team is representing a confidential technology scale-up in the automotive sector. They're seeking a Senior Total Rewards Analyst to report directly to the Chief People Officer and own compensation, equity, and commission programs across the organization.
This is a hands-on, high-impact role with real influence over how the business structures pay and rewards as it scales. You'll bring analytical rigor, work closely with senior leadership and Finance, and leverage AI tooling as a core part of your workflow.
Location: London (hybrid - 2 days per week in office)
Responsibilities
Compensation
- Own market pricing and pay benchmarking, including external surveys, job matching, and competitive pay analysis
- Take a newly completed job architecture live by building salary bands to best-practice standards and using AI tooling to drive efficiency
- Run the annual merit cycle and gender pay gap reporting in partnership with the CPO, People Partners, and Finance
- Maintain HRIS accuracy, build compensation dashboards, and support Talent Acquisition and People Partners on benchmarking and offer decisions
Equity
- Bring hands-on experience with employee equity plans such as EMI, unapproved options, or equivalent schemes
- Understand cap table dynamics, run equity and option pool analysis, and monitor equity burn
- Partner with senior leadership to develop equity plans covering grant sizing, vesting, segmentation, and administration
- Manage equity awards from communication planning through to execution
Commission
- Support a full audit and review of commission plans, working with business leaders on ongoing review processes
- Ensure commission structures drive sustainable behaviors and long-term success
- Partner across the business, People Partners, and Finance on commission plan analysis, documentation, policy, and communication
What We're Looking For
- Solid grounding in total rewards, compensation and benefits, or reward functions (equity and commission experience desirable but not essential)
- Proven, hands-on user of AI tools who already embeds them into data analysis, dashboard building, and recommendations
- Comfortable working in a small, tight-knit team where your work has direct impact
- Willing to pick up whatever the work requires - benchmarking models, communication decks, grant administration processes
- Strong analytical and spreadsheet skills
- Clear communicator who partners naturally across People, Finance, and the wider business
