Sterling Account Executive

Responsibilities

Our talent team is representing a confidential B2B SaaS organization in Manchester that is seeking a Sterling Account Executive to drive revenue growth and build lasting client relationships.

In this role, you will:

• Create and execute effective approaches to drive new revenue and close new business opportunities
• Identify, qualify, develop, and close sales opportunities across various industries
• Identify prospective leads and develop new client relationships via cold calling, internet research, networking events, and direct marketing
• Present solutions via one-on-one, group, online, and in-person meetings
• Provide exceptional customer support and manage client expectations throughout the sales cycle
• Quote, manage, and bill projects daily, coordinating with clients and production teams to ensure smooth and profitable execution
• Communicate professionally at all levels of seniority
• Promote the organization by educating clients on its various services and capabilities

What We're Looking For

Essential skills and experience:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification
• Experience and/or interest in the M&A space
• Proven track record in sales or a client-facing role
• Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships
• Strong presentation skills (both in-person and online)
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
• Able to prioritise, manage tasks, and work effectively in a team
• Eager to learn, embrace challenges, and driven to succeed

Preferred experience:

• Experience and/or interest in financial, professional, legal, or technology services
• Experience in a B2B sales or business development role
