Working Student/Intern Sales & Business Development (f/m/d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential SaaS company in the industrial technology sector. Our client is seeking a Working Student or Intern to support their Sales & Business Development activities in Cologne. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience across the full sales cycle in a fast-growing B2B software environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze market trends, customer segments, and sales performance to generate actionable insights for customer portfolio and sales management
• Support lead qualification through structured research and data-driven assessment
• Maintain CRM data quality, ensuring transparency and accuracy across the sales pipeline
• Contribute to international go-to-market initiatives through market analysis, competitive benchmarking, and rollout activities
• Prepare commercial documents including quotations, order confirmations, and standard contractual materials
• Coordinate preparation, documentation, and follow-up for customer meetings, sales reviews, and internal workshops
• Support marketing and sales activities including campaigns, events, and digital initiatives across the entire sales cycle

What We're Looking For

• Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Business Administration or a related field
• Available for a six-month internship or working student position (shorter durations may be considered based on experience)
• Ideally, initial practical experience through internships or student roles in customer service, marketing, or customer-facing functions
• Highly organized with the ability to work independently and demonstrate strong ownership and reliability
• Advanced communication and interpersonal skills
• Enthusiasm for digitalization and willingness to learn about B2B SaaS products
• Hands-on mentality with readiness to take ownership in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Excellent German and English language skills (C1 level or higher)
• Ability to work on-site in Cologne at least one day per week, with flexibility for additional in-person collaboration
