Financial Assistant (Werkstudent:in oder Praktikant:in)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential fintech organization seeking a motivated Financial Assistant to support their finance operations in Berlin. Working closely with senior finance leadership and external tax advisors, you will contribute to essential day-to-day financial processes while gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Processing accounts payable and receivable transactions digitally, including invoice verification and creation
• Monitoring outstanding balances and supporting dunning processes
• Reviewing and processing employee expense reimbursements and document management
• Assisting with month-end close preparation in coordination with full-time finance staff
• Contributing to process optimization initiatives focused on digital and streamlined workflows
• Supporting implementation of new software tools and AI-assisted finance solutions in daily operations
• Optional involvement in cost controlling projects or management presentation preparation based on interest

What We're Looking For

• Currently enrolled in Business Administration, Economics, Finance & Accounting, or related degree program
• Prior practical experience through internships in finance or accounting
• Proficiency with Google Workspace and MS Office 365, particularly Excel
• Experience with DATEV accounting software required
• Strong numerical aptitude with structured, detail-oriented working style
• High reliability and ability to work independently
• Fluent German language skills required (written and spoken); English proficiency is advantageous
• Available for Werkstudent or internship position in Berlin

Pay
