Senior Product Manager – Audiobooks Format Foundations

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential global audio streaming platform in their search for a Senior Product Manager - Audiobooks Format Foundations based in London. This role sits within the consumer experience organization and focuses on shaping how millions of listeners discover, engage with, and enjoy audiobook content across mobile applications.

You'll lead product strategy for the audiobook format experience, working at the intersection of consumer behavior, digital content delivery, and mobile product development. This position requires close collaboration with business stakeholders to translate listener needs and growth objectives into innovative product solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end product strategy for audiobook experiences across mobile platforms, from discovery and evaluation through playback and library management
• Define and evolve the listener journey, driving innovation across multimodal experiences including the intersection of listening and reading
• Partner with business unit stakeholders to align product roadmaps with growth strategy and user needs
• Collaborate with Engineering, Design, Data Science, and cross-functional teams to deliver intuitive, scalable experiences
• Leverage data, experimentation, and user research to inform product decisions and drive continuous improvement
• Build alignment across multiple product domains including personalization, core experience, and format-specific teams
• Lead complex initiatives from concept through delivery, setting direction and scope while partnering with engineering on execution
• Balance user experience, technical feasibility, and business impact when making product trade-offs

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of product management experience, with meaningful experience in audiobook, ebook, digital reading, or related consumer products
• Deep understanding of the audiobook or digital reading landscape, including user behavior, publisher ecosystems, and competitive dynamics
• Proven experience building consumer products for iOS and Android mobile platforms, including complex user experiences
• Track record of building scalable systems and experiences that enable team velocity
• Strong ability to balance user needs, technical constraints, and business outcomes in product decision-making
• Demonstrated commitment to creating high-quality consumer experiences at scale
• Experience partnering closely with Engineering, Design, Data, and other disciplines throughout the product lifecycle
• Comfort navigating ambiguity, making thoughtful trade-offs, and creating clarity for cross-functional teams
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders across functions and organizational levels to build alignment and drive results
• Active use of AI tools in product development workflows, including for research, analysis, iteration, and prototyping
