Founders’ Associate (m/f/d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a well-funded fintech organization in Berlin that is transforming professional services delivery in the German market. Our client combines strategic acquisitions with proprietary technology to build a scaled platform serving small and medium-sized enterprises.

As a Founders' Associate, you will work directly with the executive leadership team on the highest-priority initiatives shaping the company's growth. You will own projects end-to-end across M&A, fundraising, strategy, finance, and operational integration. This is a high-impact role at the center of decision-making, with intentionally broad scope that evolves with business priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead workstreams within live acquisition processes, including target evaluation, investment case development, due diligence, and transaction execution
• Support fundraising activities and investor relations through analysis, preparation, and execution alongside senior leadership
• Own strategic initiatives, translating complex or incomplete information into clear recommendations and executable plans
• Drive high-priority finance and accounting topics across the organization and its portfolio
• Develop operating processes and integration frameworks to scale acquired entities effectively
• Take ownership of cross-functional projects that lack a natural owner and drive them to measurable outcomes

What We're Looking For

• Experience in top-tier investment banking, strategy consulting, private equity, or high-growth startup environments
• Strong analytical capabilities and structured thinking; comfortable making decisions with incomplete information
• High ownership mentality with ability to drive projects from concept through execution to completion
• Thrives in high-stakes, fast-paced environments with shifting priorities
• Entrepreneurial mindset with genuine interest in building and scaling organizations
• Professional fluency in German is mandatory
• Available to start immediately
• Based in or willing to relocate to Berlin (this is an on-site role at the company headquarters)

Pay
