The Opportunity
Fin's Machine Learning team is responsible for defining new ML features, researching appropriate algorithms and technologies, and rapidly getting first prototypes in our customers’ hands. We are an extremely product-focused team that works closely with Product and Design functions to ensure seamless integration of machine learning solutions into our products.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and implement new ML features for Fin's AI Customer Agent
- Research and evaluate algorithms and technologies suitable for enhancing customer support
- Develop prototypes and bring them to production quickly, often shipping beta versions in weeks after successful offline tests
- Collaborate with Product and Design teams to ensure alignment and user-centric solutions
Requirements
- PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Machine Learning Scientist or Engineer
- Strong background in machine learning algorithms and techniques (e.g., deep learning, natural language processing)
- Experience with Python, R, or similar programming languages for data analysis and model development
- Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure is a plus
- Excellent communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
