About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential data intelligence organization in their search for a Senior Account Executive II based in Australia (Sydney, Melbourne, or Brisbane). Our client is a global enterprise SaaS leader helping organizations build trusted, AI-ready data foundations.
This is a strategic enterprise sales role focused on expanding relationships with existing customers and developing new accounts across complex organizations. You'll work with C-level stakeholders to solve high-impact data and AI governance challenges, managing sophisticated sales cycles from origination through close and expansion.
Responsibilities
- Expand relationships with existing enterprise customers across all verticals while prospecting for net new accounts
- Maintain an active deal pipeline with ideal quota coverage across your territory
- Create and manage demand for expansion opportunities to widen platform footprint within existing accounts
- Navigate complex deal cycles involving multiple technical and business stakeholders, from lead origination through negotiation to close
- Collaborate consultatively with customers, partners, and internal peers to identify value and ROI aligned with customer needs
- Deliver reliable, accurate forecasting with real-time CRM updates
- Position enterprise data and AI governance solutions as critical platforms for business transformation
What We're Looking For
- 7+ years of enterprise sales experience in data management software with proven track record and familiarity with corresponding sales methodologies
- Consistent achievement or over-achievement of SaaS sales quotas
- Domain expertise in data management required
- Experience managing both greenfield territories and expansion accounts
- Proven ability to originate and navigate complex, direct sales cycles with multiple stakeholders
- Track record selling net-new business and expansion opportunities to C-level buyers in large enterprise accounts
- Experience managing consultative, value-based sales processes focused on measurable outcomes
- Demonstrated proficiency leveraging AI tools (Claude, Gemini, ChatGPT, Copilot) to solve business challenges and drive outcomes
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent related working experience
- Strong integrity, composure, and customer commitment
- Resourceful and focused in high-growth environments with adaptive, accountable approach
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Flexibility to travel as required
