Senior Data Scientist

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential fintech organization in their search for a Senior Data Scientist to join their product analytics team. Our client operates a consumer-facing platform used by millions of people globally, and this role will directly influence strategic product and infrastructure decisions through data-driven insights.

This is a fully remote position open to candidates in LATAM, Canada, Europe, and the USA.

Responsibilities

• Generate and communicate data-driven insights that empower cross-functional teams to make informed product and business decisions
• Develop key metrics and design experiments to understand growth patterns and measure the impact of product changes
• Analyze large, diverse datasets to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for optimization
• Collaborate with stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Design, and Operations as a member of the Growth team
• Contribute to the company roadmap by translating data findings into actionable recommendations
• Prepare clear, compelling reports that communicate complex analytical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience working in product-driven organizations and driving data-informed decision-making
• Demonstrated track record of using data analysis to drive measurable impact with cross-functional partners
• Proven experience analyzing, cleaning, and preparing reports on large, diverse datasets
• Strong experience with experiment design and funnel analysis
• Solid understanding of statistical concepts including selection bias, probability distributions, and conditional probabilities
• Mastery of SQL for data extraction and analysis
• Familiarity with R and/or Python for analysis and model-building

Nice to Have:

• Professional experience working with datasets in cryptocurrency, blockchain, or decentralized finance
