Telepsychiatrist (Contract, Part Time)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential healthcare technology organization in their search for a Telepsychiatrist to join their team on a contract, part-time basis. This role offers the opportunity to work with a mission-driven team focused on improving patient outcomes through innovative care delivery models.

In this position, you will build meaningful relationships with patients while collaborating with healthcare advocates to deliver comprehensive support. You'll contribute to the development of a patient care program designed to serve individuals with complex behavioral health and advocacy needs.

Responsibilities

• Learn client systems, tools, technology, and care delivery protocols while providing clinical expertise in every patient interaction
• Conduct initial psychiatric evaluations for patients with behavioral health and advocacy needs
• Identify and prioritize patient needs while maintaining continuity of care
• Oversee patient care plans in partnership with healthcare advocates, addressing social determinants of health including food resources, transportation access, and home support
• Provide clinical guidance that supports holistic patient outcomes

What We're Looking For

• Board certification in adult psychiatry (required)
• Strong clinical skills combined with excellent organizational abilities
• Ability to balance multiple tasks and work under pressure while maintaining organized communications and documentation
• Superior communication skills with a foundation in active listening and empathy
• Comfort working with adults of all ages who have behavioral health needs, medical concerns, and health-related social needs
• Technical proficiency and ability to quickly learn new systems and software
• Bias toward action and execution with willingness to share constructive feedback
• Adaptability to change and iteration in a fast-paced environment
• Must be based in the United States
