Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential fintech organization in a search for a Director of Strategy & Analytics. This is a leadership role focused on generating actionable insights that drive marketing optimization, customer retention, and business growth through data-driven decision-making.

You'll lead a small analytics team while remaining hands-on as an individual contributor, working cross-functionally with sales, marketing, operations, and product teams. The ideal candidate thrives in rapid-growth environments and excels at translating complex data into clear executive-level recommendations.

This position is based in the Chicago area, with remote consideration for candidates with proven success in fully remote roles.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of analytics professionals analyzing operational trends, challenges, and growth opportunities
• Conduct hands-on data analysis and present actionable recommendations to executive stakeholders
• Define and refine KPIs critical to company objectives; design stakeholder dashboards and executive reporting
• Collaborate with product and operations teams to design experiments and communicate test results to senior management
• Partner with data engineering and business intelligence teams to ensure data integrity across analyses
• Analyze marketing and sales performance, customer lifetime value, retention metrics, and program effectiveness
• Prioritize projects, delegate effectively, and manage resources to ensure timely execution of key initiatives

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, STEM, or related analytical field
• 5–10 years of professional experience in marketing analytics, product analytics, strategy, or business analytics
• Proven track record addressing business challenges through data-driven analyses that deliver measurable results
• Prior experience in strategy consulting, financial services, or startup environments strongly preferred
• Best-in-class technical skills: SQL, Excel, dataset manipulation, data visualization, and executive presentation
• Ownership mindset with demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Record of successful, rapid execution in dynamic environments
• Strategic thinker who can quickly build deep business understanding and communicate effectively with senior executives

Pay

Base salary range: $146,810–$203,084 USD annually. This role is eligible for additional incentives including an annual bonus.
