Solution Architect – Client Solutions (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential fintech organization seeking a Solution Architect to bridge client needs and development teams. In this role, you will:

• Serve as the primary interface between clients and engineering teams, spending significant time in direct client communication
• Listen carefully to understand client challenges and translate business requirements into technical specifications that developers can action
• Design solution architectures that align with both client requirements and the company's existing system landscape
• Think in systems: understand internal architecture, client technical environments, data flows, interfaces, and dependencies to integrate these worlds effectively
• Work hands-on with APIs and integrations, discussing implementation approaches and impacts with developers at a technical level
• Guide projects from initial requirements through to implementation, ensuring technical concepts become working solutions
• Bring clarity across stakeholders: identify root problems, define technical needs, and determine what is feasible to build
• Structure complex topics, coordinate diverse stakeholders, and maintain oversight across multiple concurrent projects

What We're Looking For

• Completed degree or training in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Economics, or comparable field
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Solution Architecture, Technical Consulting, Product Management, Software Development, or similar roles at the intersection of business and technology
• Strong technical understanding of software architectures, data flows, interfaces, and API design; development background is a clear advantage but not mandatory
• Pronounced client orientation with the ability to understand customer problems and business requirements, translating them into clear, actionable technical requirements
• Enthusiasm for collaborating with engineering teams: ability to discuss technical topics as equals, communicate complex matters clearly, and develop pragmatic solutions together with developers
• Interest in wealth management, financial technology, and SaaS, with willingness to deeply engage with both business and technical contexts
• Experience with agile methodologies, strong organizational skills, and the ability to bring together different stakeholders while guiding solutions through to implementation
• Native-level German proficiency and very strong English language skills, both written and spoken
• Based in or willing to relocate to Frankfurt am Main
