(Senior) Collection Merchandiser Shoes (f/m/d)

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential luxury fashion brand in their search for a Senior Collection Merchandiser specializing in footwear. This Berlin-based role offers the chance to shape product strategy for a premium brand serving both direct-to-consumer and wholesale channels. You'll drive assortment planning, collaborate across design and commercial teams, and bring strategic vision to a growing international organization.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute long-term assortment strategy for the footwear category, balancing brand identity with commercial objectives across D2C and B2B channels
• Lead seasonal collection creation in partnership with design and product development, owning range planning and line plans throughout the process
• Manage the critical path for footwear, coordinating cross-functional meetings and ensuring all stakeholders meet key milestones and deadlines
• Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and consumer insights to inform strategic merchandising decisions
• Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to develop compelling product narratives and campaigns
• Partner with sales teams to gather wholesale partner feedback and ensure assortment meets channel-specific needs
• Coordinate with operations to ensure seamless product delivery and availability
• Monitor category performance metrics, identifying growth opportunities and areas for optimization

What We're Looking For

• 4-5 years of proven experience in merchandising or product management within luxury fashion, ideally with footwear focus
• Strong understanding of luxury market dynamics, including both D2C and B2B channels
• Excellent project management capabilities with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and meet tight deadlines
• Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable business insights
• Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities across departments and functions
• Passion for luxury fashion, design, and craftsmanship
• Based in or willing to relocate to Berlin (relocation and visa support available)
