Technischer Senior Projektmanager (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential healthcare technology organization seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager to lead complex digital health implementations. In this role, you will:

• Manage technical delivery of customer projects from planning through go-live, developing initial proposals for target architecture and interface design
• Work closely with customers both remotely and on-site, owning the journey from requirements through production operations alongside the project team
• Foster collaboration with operational and technical customer stakeholders to improve product acceptance and system integration
• Serve as the internal voice of the customer, coordinating closely with sales, product management, development, and support teams
• Translate clinical processes and functional requirements into technical interface and integration concepts (including HL7 v2, HL7 FHIR, openEHR, DICOM)
• Collaborate with solution architects and technical consultants, supporting delivery with robust technical concepts, proofs of concept, and reference solutions
• Take on adjacent roles as needed—technical consulting, requirements management, or presales support—depending on project phase
• Define project scope, goals, requirements, and deliverables in partnership with stakeholders
• Own project budgets, timelines, resources, controlling, and reporting
• Lead data integration projects and ensure seamless connectivity between systems
• Identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure successful outcomes
• Coordinate communication between technical and non-technical participants, keeping all stakeholders informed of progress

What We're Looking For

• Minimum five years of professional experience in healthcare, ideally in hospital environments, with substantial time in technical project management, solution delivery, or a comparable technical role
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Medical Informatics, eHealth, or a related field
• Several years of project management experience with healthcare technologies and complex interface/data integration projects in clinical settings
• Practical experience with clinical processes, IT architectures, and systems such as HIS, RIS, PACS, and ERP
• Hands-on knowledge of standards including HL7 v2, HL7 FHIR, DICOM, and ideally openEHR
• Prior experience as a solution consultant or in technical presales is ideal; ability to interpret technical requirements and communicate effectively with architects and developers
• Flexibility to work in changing roles and project contexts, quickly adapting to new customers, topics, and technologies
• Willingness to travel for customer assignments on a project basis, primarily within German-speaking regions
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills
• Precise, friendly, and service-oriented communication style with high customer focus
• Independent, solution- and business-oriented work approach with excellent self-organization
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and build sustainable customer relationships
• Fluent German and English language skills
