(Senior) Consultant – Cloud Basic/Endpoint (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential IT consulting organization seeking a senior-level Cloud and Endpoint Consultant to join their team in Köln. In this role, you will guide enterprise clients through the strategic planning, modernization, and evolution of their endpoint, security, and modern workplace environments based on Microsoft 365 technologies.

Your core responsibilities include:

• Advising clients on strategic planning and transformation to modern cloud operating models for workplace solutions
• Analyzing existing endpoint, identity, and security landscapes to develop future-ready architecture and migration concepts
• Designing comprehensive solutions around Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, Entra ID, Microsoft Defender, and Windows Hello for Business with security, compliance, and Zero Trust requirements in mind
• Supporting clients during the introduction and optimization of modern endpoint and security solutions, serving as the technical point of contact
• Conducting workshops, architecture reviews, and security assessments to identify optimization potential and develop sustainable recommendations
• Supporting presales activities through technical consulting, solution concept development, effort estimation, and contributing to custom client solutions

What We're Looking For

Our client is seeking candidates with the following qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of practical experience in planning, designing, and implementing Microsoft endpoint management and security solutions
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, Microsoft Defender, Entra ID, and Microsoft 365
• Experience developing architecture, migration, and transformation concepts in modern workplace environments
• Extensive knowledge in endpoint security, Conditional Access, compliance, security baselines, and Zero Trust
• Excellent consulting, communication, and facilitation skills with confident client-facing presence
• Experience conducting workshops, requirements analyses, and creating technical concepts and service descriptions
• Structured, independent, and solution-oriented working style
• Fluent German and English language skills (written and spoken)
• Current Microsoft certifications preferred (MD-102, MS-102, SC-300, SC-200, or SC-100)
• Ideally 5 or more years of project experience in Microsoft 365, endpoint, and security environments
