  • Review code, collaborate on complex bugs, and contribute to technical decisions
  • Instrument features and analyze user behavior to inform product improvements
  • Prototype new educational experiences and develop promising concepts into production features
  • Improve automated testing and monitoring to catch issues before they reach end users
  • Build reusable components and internal tooling to accelerate development

What We're Looking For

  • Currently enrolled in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or related field at a German university
  • Available for approximately 20 hours per week during the semester

  • Experience with Firebase or transferable experience with another Backend-as-a-Service or cloud platform, particularly authentication, document databases, and hosting
  • Understanding of web fundamentals including HTML, CSS, and DOM to debug Flutter Web rendering quirks
  • Comfortable with Git and collaborative development workflows; GitLab experience is a plus
  • Ability to take ownership of problems, ask the right questions, and work independently
  • Systematic debugging skills and drive to understand root causes rather than just treating symptoms
  • Fluent in English and comfortable working in an English-speaking team; German skills are a plus
