Consultant, Innovation Technologies – Pricing Solutions

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential healthcare distribution organization seeking a Consultant for Innovation Technologies, specializing in pricing solutions. This role serves as a critical liaison between product pricing, costing, execution teams, analytics, IT, and business stakeholders to ensure pricing system capabilities drive operational efficiency and scalability.

Our client is looking for someone who can administer, support, and continuously improve their enterprise pricing platform while leveraging innovative technologies including Generative AI and Agentic AI to enhance profitability and pricing capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Administer and optimize the organization's Vendavo pricing platform, ensuring alignment with business objectives
• Apply specialized expertise in product pricing and execution concepts to design forward-thinking, scalable solutions
• Evaluate and implement innovative approaches using Generative AI and Agentic AI to improve profitability and pricing capabilities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable advanced pricing analytics initiatives, including Profit Analyzer, Margin Bridge Analyzer, and AI-driven pricing tools
• Drive requirements to advance system capabilities supporting pricing and costing processes, overrides, pricing execution, and deal price guidance
• Develop and maintain relationships with business partners, third-party vendors, and IT teams to ensure solutions meet operational objectives
• Facilitate recurring stakeholder meetings to review priorities, enhancement requests, project status, and issue resolution
• Support testing, validation, deployment, and change management activities for system enhancements and new functionality
• Manage workflows, business rules, and process documentation to support evolving business needs and compliance requirements

What We're Looking For

• 8-12 years of professional experience in pricing systems, business analysis, or related technology consulting roles
• Experience with Vendavo software platforms (strongly preferred)
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience
• Strong understanding of product pricing, costing methodologies, and pricing execution processes
• Ability to bridge business and technical stakeholders, translating complex requirements into actionable solutions
• Experience with pricing analytics, reporting tools, and system integrations
• Knowledge of AI applications in pricing and business operations is a plus
• Strong project management, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills
• Familiarity with SOX compliance and process control requirements
