The Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential venture builder seeking a Co-Founder & CEO to lead an enterprise AI venture targeting the US freight and logistics industry. This is a true co-founder partnership with meaningful founder equity—not a salaried executive role.

The venture deploys autonomous AI communication agents that handle high-volume freight interactions across phone, SMS, and email. These agents integrate directly with transportation management systems, load boards, and carrier databases to manage track-and-trace calls, appointment scheduling, rate negotiation, proof-of-delivery capture, and shipment status updates. The platform autonomously resolves over 90% of routine communications, escalating only exceptions to human staff.

The US logistics outsourcing market represents approximately $26B in annual spend, with around 150,000 freight forwarders, 3PLs, and warehouses forming the addressable market. Early adopters report roughly 33% lower operating costs and significantly faster resolution times. AI-driven logistics software is growing at 23–30% CAGR globally through 2031.

What We're Looking For

We are seeking a co-founder with:

• Previous founding experience at a venture-backed company
• Demonstrated success in B2B SaaS go-to-market, including sales and customer engagement
• Fundraising fluency and the ability to develop compelling investor narratives
• Proven ability to attract, develop, and retain top talent
• Direct exposure to logistics, supply chain, freight brokerage, transportation, or B2B enterprise software serving these industries
• Familiarity with AI agents and LLMs in enterprise contexts
• Clear-eyed understanding of the risks and demands of co-founding a venture-backed company

Responsibilities

As Co-Founder & CEO, you will:

• Set venture strategy including ICP refinement, pricing models, and product positioning across freight brokerages, 3PLs, carriers, and warehouse operators
• Lead customer development by running pilots with mid-sized to enterprise freight operations, converting them to paid engagements, and building repeatable go-to-market motions
• Drive product direction in partnership with the venture builder's engineering team, focusing on system integrations, conversational AI quality, and autonomous workflow execution
• Lead fundraising efforts for the seed round, leveraging the venture builder's network and early traction
• Recruit and lead the founding team, establishing the company's cultural foundation
