PTC Windchill Developer

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential technology consulting organization seeking an experienced PTC Windchill Developer for a 100% remote position within the United States. This is a direct-hire, full-time W2 role offering strong career growth potential within an established firm.

You will design, develop, and support customizations, integrations, and enhancements on the Windchill PLM platform, working closely with functional consultants and engineering stakeholders to translate product-lifecycle requirements into well-engineered solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop customizations, integrations, and enhancements for the Windchill PLM platform
• Build solutions using the Windchill Java API and implement workflows, lifecycle templates, and object initialization rules
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners including product, design, engineering, operations, and business stakeholders
• Translate ambiguous requirements into robust, production-ready technical solutions
• Perform JSP/HTML client customization and work with Info*Engine integration patterns
• Support Windchill upgrades and migrations
• Conduct code reviews, design reviews, and mentor junior engineers
• Troubleshoot issues and maintain comprehensive technical documentation

What We're Looking For

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline
• 7+ years of overall experience with 5+ years of hands-on PTC Windchill development
• Strong proficiency with Windchill Java API
• Solid experience with workflows, lifecycle templates, and object initialization rules
• Working knowledge of Info*Engine and Windchill integration patterns
• Hands-on JSP/HTML client customization experience
• Strong SQL skills and familiarity with the Windchill data model
• Experience with Windchill upgrades and migrations
• Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills
• Strong stakeholder management abilities
• Must be a U.S. Citizen, Green Card Holder, EAD Holder, or eligible for H-1B transfer (new H-1B sponsorship not available)

Preferred:

• PTC Windchill certifications
• Experience with Creo, Arbortext, or related PTC products
• Exposure to Windchill RV&S (Integrity) or ThingWorx integration
• Familiarity with CAD data management workflows
• Experience operating Windchill on cloud platforms

Pay

Pay via Get A Job.ai: $95,000–$115,000 annually.
