Director, US Hematology Marketing

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential biopharmaceutical organization in their search for a Director of Hematology Marketing. This is a strategic leadership role focused on portfolio strategy, launch readiness, and commercialization across multiple hematology assets. You'll report to senior marketing leadership and drive cross-functional initiatives that translate scientific innovation into patient outcomes.

This position is fully remote within the United States and offers the opportunity to shape the future of hematology care by leading brand strategy, identifying growth opportunities, and supporting successful product launches in a dynamic therapeutic area.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial portfolio strategy and launch readiness for pipeline hematology assets, partnering across Marketing, Market Access, Medical Affairs, Sales, R&D, and other key functions
• Develop and execute brand strategies including market assessment, customer segmentation, positioning and messaging, capability planning, and go-to-market execution
• Drive strategic decisions through analytics, forecasting, competitive intelligence, and market research, translating insights into actionable deliverables
• Assess market opportunities, build business cases, and recommend investment priorities to maximize portfolio value and growth
• Lead critical business initiatives, managing budgets, timelines, and resources to deliver measurable results
• Build and enhance commercialization capabilities, processes, and frameworks to support multiple product launches

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
• 8+ years of experience in biopharmaceuticals with expertise in marketing, competitor strategy, launch capabilities, and portfolio strategy
• Proven success developing go-to-market strategies, evaluating market opportunities, and leading growth initiatives in complex healthcare environments
• Strong analytical skills with experience in forecasting, competitive intelligence, market research, customer insights, and data-driven decision-making
• Demonstrated ability to influence and manage multi-workstreams across a matrixed organization, aligning cross-functional teams and senior leaders
• Experience partnering across Commercial, Medical, Market Access, Finance, Legal/Compliance, Supply Chain, and R&D
• Management consulting experience with structured frameworks and methodologies for driving launch readiness
• Strong relationship-building skills, team vision-setting abilities, and a collaborative approach to teamwork

Preferred qualifications:

• Hematology or oncology marketing experience

Pay

The client has indicated a salary range of $190,800 to $300,300 for this role, with placement dependent on qualifications, experience, and geographic location. The position is also eligible for annual bonus and long-term incentive programs. A comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid time off, and other insurance benefits is available.
