Global Clinical Study Senior Manager

Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential biopharmaceutical organization seeking a Global Clinical Study Senior Manager based in the United States. This is a full-time position for an experienced clinical operations professional who can drive end-to-end global study execution from start-up through close-out.

We are looking for candidates with 5+ years of clinical trial project management experience who can serve as the primary global operational owner for complex, multi-regional studies. This role requires strong cross-functional leadership, budget accountability, and the ability to align stakeholders across geographies.

Responsibilities

• Serve as single point of accountability for global study execution, including timelines, enrollment, quality, and budget performance
• Lead global clinical operations teams and external partners working at regional levels; act as point of escalation for issue resolution
• Oversee study start-up strategy, enrollment acceleration plans, site activation timelines, and data flow management
• Provide oversight and direction to regional clinical study managers, ensuring clear roles and responsibilities across study teams
• Drive alignment across Clinical Operations, Medical, Regulatory, Biometrics, Supply, and other functional areas
• Manage global study budget planning, tracking, and forecasting; ensure efficient resource allocation across regions
• Lead planning and execution of clinical studies from feasibility through closeout, maintaining high-quality timelines
• Ensure compliance with study protocol, SOPs, ICH/GCP, and all relevant regulations; maintain inspection readiness
• Collaborate with CRAs to ensure proper study execution at sites; review and sign-off on monitoring reports
• Manage trial data collection, drive data entry and query resolution processes
• Prepare sites for quality assurance audits and inspections; lead responses to findings
• Represent study leadership at cross-functional reviews; communicate transparent status updates to senior leadership
• Work with sourcing teams to select and manage study vendors
• Contribute to development of global tools, work instructions, and SOPs as required
• Mentor junior team members and support onboarding of new staff

What We're Looking For

• Education: Bachelor's degree in a scientific or healthcare discipline required; advanced degree preferred
• Experience: 5+ years of project management in clinical trials within biotech, pharmaceutical, or CRO environments
• Proven clinical research experience including relevant experience as team lead in clinical functions
• Strong global study leadership skills with ability to drive execution across multiple regions
• Experience managing study budgets and resources effectively
• Demonstrated ability to align cross-functional stakeholders and resolve complex operational challenges
• Expertise in study start-up, enrollment strategy, site management, and closeout processes
• Knowledge of ICH/GCP, regulatory requirements, and quality standards
• Proficiency with MS Office and project planning applications
• Excellent communication skills and ability to present to senior leadership
• Willingness to travel as business needs require
