About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential AI technology organization in their search for a Senior Product Designer to join their London team. Our client is a global leader in language technology, serving hundreds of thousands of business customers and millions of individual users worldwide. This is a high-impact role working on core translation experiences used by people every day.

As a Senior Product Designer, you'll be central to shaping how millions of users interact with AI-powered translation tools. You'll work within a cross-functional team alongside product managers and engineering leaders, contributing to both immediate product challenges and the broader design practice across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Design solutions that make translation effortless and trustworthy for diverse user groups, from casual users to professionals who depend on these tools daily
  • Conduct generative and evaluative user research to define problems and validate solutions
  • Gather and evaluate requirements collaboratively with cross-functional team members
  • Communicate design concepts early and frequently, supported by both qualitative insights and quantitative data
  • Deliver prototypes, final design specifications in Figma, and make small code changes in production
  • Share responsibility for maintaining and expanding the design system
  • Contribute to the broader design community, helping evolve craft and influence best practices

What We're Looking For

  • 4+ years of experience in product teams providing design solutions for web applications
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design processes
  • Experience designing for B2B audiences with a strong eye for design; B2C experience is a bonus
  • Ability to drive design throughout the complete lifecycle—from discovering problems and defining success to evaluating solutions and measuring impact
  • Skilled storyteller who can drive stakeholder buy-in
  • Consistent use of qualitative and quantitative insights to guide design decisions
  • Confident ownership of design artifacts in Figma
  • Comfortable using AI to support work, particularly for creating design assets and prototypes
  • Experience working on products at scale with global presence
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Fluent in English; additional languages such as German are advantageous
