About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential e-commerce client in their search for a Senior Product Manager to lead their Gift Cards vertical. This is a high-ownership role within a fast-growing business line that spans gift card purchase, redemption, provider partnerships, and multi-market expansion.

You'll set strategy for a product generating triple-digit year-over-year growth in select markets, own commercial relationships with gift card providers, and work directly with senior leadership on the vertical's direction. This position offers visibility at the executive level and the potential to expand into adjacent alternative payment and rewards products.

Our talent team is seeking a strong senior product leader who has built and scaled products at leading tech companies or startups, thinks entrepreneurially, and can drive commercial products forward with minimal oversight.

Responsibilities

  • Own the gift card product strategy and roadmap, covering provider selection, inventory quality, and the end-to-end purchase, redemption, and administrative experience
  • Lead commercial and provider negotiations including framework agreements, commission structures, SLAs, and multi-entity contracting, partnering with Operations, Legal, and Finance teams
  • Drive revenue growth across France, Germany, and Spain by setting and delivering GMV and commission targets backed by transaction-level analysis
  • Partner cross-functionally with engineering, design, data, CRM, and adjacent product teams to ship a coherent gift card experience across web, app, and browser extension
  • Use data to lead product decisions, build and refine models such as fraud-tier scoring, validate revenue and performance data with Finance, and identify high-impact opportunities
  • Represent the vertical at the leadership level with clear recommendations and trade-offs in cross-team and executive forums
  • Build for scale by expanding gift cards from a standalone offering into a fully integrated product across the platform

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years in product management, including significant time owning a product or business line end-to-end at a leading tech company or startup
  • Strong entrepreneurial track record—you've built something from close to zero, made judgment calls with imperfect data, and taken ownership beyond your formal remit
  • Commercial fluency with revenue targets, vendor/partner negotiations, and thinking in margin, commission, and unit economics
  • Strong analytical skills working with transaction and revenue data to make and defend decisions; comfortable partnering with data and finance teams on models like fraud scoring
  • Proven cross-functional leadership experience leading engineering, design, and data counterparts in fast-paced, matrixed environments without formal authority
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and present confidently to senior and executive stakeholders
  • Degree from a top-tier university; MBA or further qualification from a leading program is a plus
  • Fluent English required
