About This Opportunity

We are representing a fast-scaling creator marketing platform based in Berlin. Our client connects thousands of creators with leading consumer brands across Europe, managing hundreds of thousands of collaborations through a sophisticated technical infrastructure. They're looking for a Fullstack AI Product Engineer who can move across their entire stack—from native mobile to microservices—and who uses AI tooling as genuine leverage in daily work.

Responsibilities

You'll work across a real distributed system with multiple layers:

  • Build and maintain native iOS features using SwiftUI
  • Develop web marketplace applications in Angular, with newer internal tools in React
  • Work on a Node/TypeScript application server handling booking logic, scheduling, invoicing, and PDF generation
  • Contribute to a polyglot microservices fleet (Node.js, Go, legacy Hack/HHVM being phased out) deployed on Kubernetes via Helm
  • Manage scheduled workloads at scale—dozens of CronJobs per environment handling reminders, payouts, stat rollups, and media polling
  • Touch the ledger service that handles real money movement and balances
  • Support a scraper fleet that navigates rate limits and platform defenses
  • Build greenfield features on AWS serverless infrastructure (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB)
  • Use AI tools openly to quickly understand unfamiliar services, read legacy code, and ship changes fast—while verifying outputs before they go live
  • Trace bugs from UI symptoms (web or native) down through application layers to backend root causes

What We're Looking For

Must-have skills and experience:

  • Proven experience operating real distributed systems, not just monolithic applications
  • Comfortable working across frontend (Angular, React, SwiftUI) and backend (Node.js, Go, TypeScript) layers
  • Ability to be dropped into unfamiliar code—including languages you may not know—and use AI tools plus your own judgment to understand how it behaves in production
  • Strong debugging skills: tracing issues from UI through application server to backend services
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and containerized deployments
  • Honest about uncertainty—you know when to check logs rather than guess, and you verify AI suggestions before shipping
  • Comfortable using AI agent tools as part of your daily workflow to read code, understand systems, and move quickly

Nice to have:

  • Experience with GitLab CI, Helm, or similar deployment tooling
  • Familiarity with AWS serverless architecture (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB)
  • Background with scheduled workloads, cron jobs, or background processing at scale
  • Prior work with ledger systems or financial transactions

Not required:

  • Prior experience with Hack or HHVM (the team is actively phasing these out)
  • A portfolio of AI-free work—our client values shipping good software in real systems, regardless of tooling

How We Work With You

  • Please do not contact the client directly—all communication should go through our recruiting team to ensure a smooth process

What's On Offer

  • Competitive salary and meaningful equity package
  • High ownership from day one with freedom to ship, experiment, and influence product direction
  • Direct access to founders and leadership with fast decisions and minimal bureaucracy
  • In-person culture at the Berlin office with flexibility for remote days
  • Public transport pass, gym membership, and recurring team lunches
  • Work with a team of ambitious, pragmatic builders obsessed with moving fast
