AI Product Owner – Leeds

Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential legal intelligence organization in their search for an AI Product Owner based in Leeds. This is a hybrid role working with a growing multi-site research and data business that serves the professional services sector.

You'll provide central product ownership for AI capabilities used across multiple business units and functions. The primary focus is ensuring AI investment aligns with business objectives, solves clearly defined problems, and maintains appropriate governance and oversight throughout the product lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an enterprise AI product portfolio and roadmap spanning multiple business units
• Work across business-unit leaders, users, technology teams, data teams, and governance functions
• Translate business needs into prioritized product requirements
• Oversee adoption and value realization of AI products
• Ensure AI products evolve as operating models change
• Balance competing priorities across technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Challenge AI outputs and understand issues such as hallucination, bias, confidence and evidence quality

What We're Looking For

Essential:

• Strong product ownership background, ideally managing a portfolio of products or initiatives across multiple functions
• Experience in AI, data, digital or knowledge-intensive environments in a business change context
• Good understanding of how generative AI and related technologies can be applied to business processes (deep engineering expertise not required)
• Ability to quickly understand different business functions and complex processes
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills with ability to challenge AI outputs
• Experience working across multiple business units and technology teams
• Commercial and outcome-focused approach rather than technology-led
• Comfortable working in an evolving environment where AI capabilities continue to change

Desirable:

• Understanding of professional services, publishing, research or other knowledge-intensive environments
