Platform Engineer – IAM & Compliance

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential health technology organization based in Hamburg, Germany. Our client develops AI-supported clinical software solutions deployed in hospital systems to improve patient care. They operate in a highly collaborative, dynamic environment and are seeking an experienced Platform Engineer to take ownership of their internal platform and identity landscape.

This is a full-time, hybrid position requiring 2–3 days per week on-site in Hamburg (Eppendorf). The role is suited for candidates with more than 3 years of professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop the Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD environment, including SSO, Conditional Access, MFA, user lifecycle, and license management
• Administer and configure Jira, Confluence, GitHub, GitLab, and Microsoft 365
• Implement access controls, RBAC policies, and audit trails to support security and compliance standards
• Automate recurring tasks such as user provisioning, license assignment, and policy enforcement using scripting or Infrastructure as Code
• Monitor platform availability, establish alerting, and proactively resolve issues
• Serve as the primary point of contact for internal IT and tooling requests
• Support vendor, SaaS, and license management activities

What We're Looking For

• More than 3 years of experience in IT administration, systems engineering, or platform engineering
• Strong practical experience with Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD
• Experience administering Atlassian tools and Git-based platforms
• Solid understanding of IAM concepts including RBAC, SAML, OIDC, and SCIM
• Experience with Microsoft 365 administration
• German language skills at minimum B2 level
• Structured, documentation-oriented, and highly self-directed working style
• Experience with scripting or automation is a significant plus

Pay

Pay via Get A Job.ai: €80,000–€100,000 gross per year, depending on experience.
