Responsibilities
We are representing a confidential SaaS organization seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to serve as the primary technical resource for their sales team in London. In this role, you will:
- Partner with account executives to understand customer challenges and articulate technical value propositions, vision, and strategy
- Technically close complex opportunities through advanced competitive knowledge, technical skill, and credibility
- Understand and orchestrate all phases of the sales cycle, including leading technical validations during proof of value phases
- Work successfully with all levels of an organization, from executives to individual developers and site reliability engineers
- Deliver product and technical demonstrations of cloud-based services
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product management and engineering teams to share customer insights and improve service offerings
What We're Looking For
Our talent team is seeking candidates with strong technical and interpersonal skills who can become trusted advisors to clients. The ideal candidate will have:
- B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; M.S. preferred
- 5+ years as a Solutions Engineer, Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, Implementation Consultant, Support Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer, or Software Developer with customer-facing experience
- Hands-on knowledge of security-related products, technologies, and sources such as IDS/IPS, SIEM/Log Management, Network/Endpoint Security, Threat Detection, Incident Response, MSSP/MDR, Threat Feeds, and CASB
- Experience with open source collections (Telegraf, FluentBit, FluentD, Open Telemetry) preferred
- Experience leading and running technical validations like Proof of Value preferred
- Experience selling and working with pure SaaS solutions in multi-tenant architectures
- Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Microsoft Azure; certification preferred
- Broad background and understanding of technical infrastructure including servers, networking devices, and storage
- Understanding of modern application architecture including micro-services, containers, Kubernetes, Docker, and/or Lambda preferred
- Experience with various monitoring and analytics tools preferred
- Comfort working in dynamic, fast-paced environments; startup experience preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as business and technical acumen
