Technical Account Manager – German Speaking

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential SaaS organization seeking a Technical Account Manager fluent in German to join their remote team in Germany. Our client is a leading AI-powered learning platform serving enterprise customers worldwide, and they need a technical strategist who can bridge business objectives with platform capabilities while building lasting customer partnerships.

In this role, you'll serve as the trusted technical advisor to enterprise accounts, architecting long-term solutions, driving platform health, and ensuring customers unlock maximum value from their learning technology investment. This is a fully remote position based in Germany.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer business and eLearning goals into scalable technical strategies using platform capabilities
• Take full technical and product ownership of assigned enterprise accounts while collaborating with account teams on growth initiatives
• Guide executive and technical stakeholders through platform innovations, API integrations, and AI-assisted workflows
• Proactively monitor technical performance metrics (API usage, login trends) to identify and mitigate potential risks
• Deliver high-impact executive technical reviews and performance presentations on SLAs to customer leadership
• Champion customer feedback internally and partner with teams to analyze support patterns and pilot proof-of-concept projects
• Drive systemic platform improvements to optimize overall customer platform health

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of SaaS technical troubleshooting experience
• 2+ years of enterprise or large account management experience
• Strong foundation in back-end practices, RESTful APIs, OAuth 2.0, and SAML
• Front-end knowledge including JavaScript, CSS, and HTML
• Hands-on experience with at least two: iPaaS tools (Workato, Zapier), SQL queries, or data warehousing/BI tools (Snowflake, Tableau, Power BI)
• Exceptional ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value for executive stakeholders
• German language proficiency required (English is primary working language)
• Willingness to support EMEA time zones and travel internationally up to 25%
• Proactive project management mindset with analytical decision-making capabilities

Bonus qualifications: AWS Product Certification, e-Learning/LMS/HCM industry background, experience with platform scalability and high-availability consulting
