We are representing a confidential HR consulting organization in Nigeria seeking a Community Manager to lead their online job seeker communities. This volunteer position offers meaningful experience in community building, content creation, and talent development within the HR space.

Our client provides comprehensive human capital solutions across diverse industries. You'll play a central role in fostering engagement, creating valuable content, and helping job seekers navigate their career journeys through active online communities.

Responsibilities

• Manage and moderate the organization's WhatsApp community, creating a welcoming and informative environment for job seekers
• Develop and share engaging content including job postings, career advice articles, interview tips, and industry insights
• Host interactive activities such as Q&A sessions with industry experts to drive member participation
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop growth strategies for attracting new community members
• Monitor community analytics and use data insights to refine engagement approaches
• Create high-quality educational content across formats including social media posts, articles, and short videos
• Stay current on Nigerian job market trends and tailor community efforts accordingly
• Respond to member questions, resolve conflicts, and maintain positive community dynamics

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Business Management, HR, or equivalent practical experience
• 0-2 years of experience managing online communities or forums
• Strong understanding of current job market trends in Nigeria (highly desirable)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with social media platforms and online community tools
• Genuine passion for the HR industry and helping job seekers succeed
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment
• Creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Cultural sensitivity and ability to adapt content for different audiences
• Adaptability and eagerness to learn new tools and techniques
