About This Position

As a Hardware QA Tester at Cricut, you'll play a critical part in our quality engineering function. You'll conduct thorough testing of hardware devices, identify defects and inconsistencies, and verify that products perform reliably under real-world conditions. Your work directly impacts the quality and user experience of hardware products that reach our customers.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Execute structured test plans and procedures to evaluate hardware functionality and performance
• Operate and test hardware products in various conditions to identify defects, malfunctions, or design issues
• Document test results, failures, and observations in detail for engineering and product teams
• Collaborate with quality engineering and product development teams to troubleshoot issues and validate fixes
• Perform regression testing when hardware is updated or modified
• Follow established quality assurance protocols and contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes

Requirements

• Experience with hardware testing, quality assurance, or a related field
• Strong attention to detail and ability to document findings clearly and accurately
• Hands-on experience operating and evaluating hardware devices
• Ability to follow test procedures and specifications precisely
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to work methodically through complex testing scenarios
• Communication skills to report results and collaborate effectively with engineering teams
