Risk & Claims Manager

Cirrus Asset Management is seeking a Risk & Claims Manager for a remote full-time position based in Irving, TX, US. In this role, you'll oversee risk assessment, claims management, and corporate legal compliance initiatives that support our operations and stakeholder interests.

Role Overview

The Risk & Claims Manager is responsible for managing the complete claims lifecycle while identifying and mitigating organizational risk exposure. This position plays a critical role in our Corporate/Legal department, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and protecting company assets. You'll work cross-functionally with internal teams to develop risk strategies, investigate claims, and maintain detailed documentation supporting company decisions and legal defense.

Your Responsibilities

• Evaluate incoming claims for validity, coverage, and liability exposure
• Investigate claim circumstances, gather evidence, and coordinate with relevant parties
• Develop risk mitigation strategies and monitor exposure across business operations
• Maintain comprehensive claims files and ensure regulatory compliance documentation
• Communicate with claimants, vendors, legal counsel, and internal stakeholders
• Analyze claims trends and patterns to identify systemic risks
• Review insurance policies and coverage limits to ensure adequate protection
• Prepare reports and recommendations for management review

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, law, or related field
• 3+ years of professional experience in risk management, claims administration, or corporate legal operations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with claims management systems and Microsoft Office applications
• Knowledge of risk assessment methodologies and relevant regulations
• Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in documentation
