Position Summary
As a Maintenance Technician (52433) with Cirrus Asset Management, you'll be the technical backbone of our residential property operations in the Honolulu area. You'll handle preventive maintenance, emergency repairs, and system diagnostics across multiple properties, working independently while staying connected with our property management team. Your goal is to keep every aspect of our buildings functioning reliably and safely.
Core Duties
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and appliances
- Respond to maintenance requests and work orders with urgency and professionalism
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical equipment failures and implement repairs
- Inspect properties regularly to identify maintenance issues before they escalate
- Document all work performed, track materials and parts usage, and maintain accurate records
- Coordinate with residents professionally and address their maintenance concerns
- Maintain compliance with safety standards and building codes
Skills & Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in residential maintenance or building systems repair
- Practical knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general construction systems
- Comfort using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills for identifying root causes
- Ability to prioritize work orders and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Professional communication skills and a customer-service mindset
- Valid driver's license with dependable transportation
- High school diploma or GED
