Account Executive

Xplor is hiring an Account Executive for a full-time, remote position supporting our Cary, NC, US office. You'll close deals and build strategic client partnerships that drive our business growth.

What This Role Involves

As an Account Executive at Xplor, you'll own the sales process from prospect identification through deal closure. This remote position requires you to work independently while maintaining regular communication with your team and customers. You'll combine consultative selling with relationship management to grow our customer base and revenue.

Core Duties

• Identify and qualify new business opportunities within assigned territories or accounts
• Build and maintain relationships with prospects and customers throughout the full sales cycle
• Understand client business needs and present tailored solutions that address their pain points
• Negotiate contract terms and close sales to meet or exceed revenue targets
• Manage your sales pipeline in our CRM, maintaining accurate forecasts and activity tracking
• Coordinate with product, implementation, and customer success teams to ensure smooth customer onboarding
• Research market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to inform your sales strategy

Skills & Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in direct sales, account management, or business development roles
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with confidence presenting to various audiences
• Ability to manage multiple sales opportunities and achieve revenue targets consistently
• Comfort working independently in a fully remote environment with strong self-discipline
• Proficiency with CRM systems and sales management tools
• Resilience and persistence in a competitive sales environment with ability to handle rejection
• Consultative approach that prioritizes understanding customer needs and building lasting relationships
