The Opportunity

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop full-stack features using Java for back-end services and modern web technologies for front-end applications
  • Write clean, maintainable code that meets our standards for quality, performance, and security
  • Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and fellow developers to translate requirements into elegant technical solutions
  • Build and optimise RESTful APIs and integrate with databases, third-party services, and cloud infrastructure
  • Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and knowledge-sharing sessions with the team
  • Troubleshoot issues, debug production systems, and implement improvements based on real-world usage patterns

Requirements

  • Professional experience as a full-stack developer, backend engineer, or similar role with demonstrated Java expertise
  • Strong command of front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and at least one modern framework
  • Solid experience with relational databases, SQL, and basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, or similar)
  • Familiarity with REST API design, microservices concepts, and contemporary development practices
  • Experience with Git or other version control systems, plus exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automated testing
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent hands-on professional experience
