Position Summary

This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to make a direct impact on the guest experience at Morris Inn, one of Notre Dame's distinguished hospitality properties. As a PM Public Space Custodian, you'll be responsible for maintaining pristine common areas, lobbies, hallways, and public spaces that reflect the university's commitment to excellence and hospitality. Your attention to detail and dedication to cleanliness will help create a welcoming environment for guests, visitors, and community members throughout the facility.

Your Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, and maintain all public spaces, common areas, and shared facilities throughout the Morris Inn
• Perform floor care including sweeping, mopping, waxing, and carpet maintenance using appropriate equipment and techniques
• Restock supplies and maintain inventory levels for public restrooms, hallways, and common areas
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards at all times
• Respond promptly to guest and staff requests for facility maintenance and cleaning needs
• Report maintenance issues, damaged facilities, or safety concerns to management
• Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure seamless facility operations
• Maintain professional appearance and demeanor while interacting with guests and colleagues

• Proven experience in custodial, housekeeping, or public space maintenance
