Turner & Townsend seeks a Water Sector Lead to drive strategy, project delivery, and market growth across the US water infrastructure landscape. Based in Atlanta, Georgia, this is a full-time remote position for a seasoned leader ready to shape the future of water sector consulting and infrastructure solutions.

Position Summary

As Water Sector Lead for Turner & Townsend, you'll own the strategic direction and operational excellence of our water infrastructure practice across the United States. This leadership role combines hands-on project involvement with the vision-setting and business development required to expand our water sector presence. You'll partner with executive leadership, manage key client relationships, and lead high-impact teams delivering transformational water infrastructure and management solutions to cities, utilities, and private sector clients nationwide.

What You'll Do

• Develop and execute strategic initiatives that grow our water sector market share and capabilities across the US
• Lead multidisciplinary teams through complex infrastructure projects involving water treatment, distribution, sustainability, and resilience
• Build and nurture relationships with municipal, utility, and enterprise clients, identifying new business opportunities
• Champion innovative approaches to water system challenges, from climate adaptation to aging infrastructure renewal
• Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of technical excellence and client focus
• Collaborate with peers and business units to integrate consulting expertise across infrastructure, environment, and program management

What We're Looking For

• 15+ years of professional experience in water infrastructure, utilities, consulting, or related sector
• Proven track record of business leadership, P&L responsibility, or senior delivery roles in complex projects
• Strong understanding of water infrastructure challenges, regulatory landscape, and emerging solutions (recycling, treatment, smart systems, sustainability)
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and relationship-building skills
• Strategic thinking combined with the ability to execute and drive results
• Leadership experience managing and developing technical teams
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, infrastructure management, environmental science, or related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications a plus
