The Opportunity

Turner & Townsend is seeking a detail-oriented Construction Cost Estimator to support our retail construction projects. In this remote position, you'll prepare comprehensive cost estimates, budgets, and financial analyses for retail construction initiatives. You'll play a critical role in project planning and feasibility assessments, helping clients and internal teams make informed financial decisions throughout the construction lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed cost estimates and budgets for retail construction projects at various phases
• Analyze project specifications, drawings, and scope documents to identify cost drivers
• Research and track material pricing, labor rates, and market conditions
• Prepare tender documentation and bid analyses
• Monitor project costs and provide variance reporting and forecasts
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and contractors on cost-related matters
• Maintain and update cost databases and estimating tools
• Support value engineering and cost optimization initiatives
