Construction Cost Estimator – Workplace Solutions (Will Relocate)

Turner & Townsend is hiring a Construction Cost Estimator to join our Workplace Solutions team in a fully remote position serving the Cupertino, California market. This full-time role offers the chance to deliver precise cost analyses that drive real estate and construction decisions for organizations nationwide.

About the Role

As a Construction Cost Estimator, you'll develop rigorous cost projections and budget forecasts for construction and workplace renovation initiatives. Working remotely, you'll synthesize architectural plans, market data, and project specifications to produce estimates that inform client strategy and financial planning across our Workplace Solutions consulting practice.

What You'll Do

• Generate detailed cost estimates and feasibility analyses for construction projects at all phases
• Examine design documents and scope statements to quantify materials, labor, and overhead requirements
• Research and compile current pricing for labor, equipment, and building materials in relevant markets
• Partner with project leads, architects, and clients to clarify project parameters and assumptions
• Apply estimation platforms and modeling tools to stress-test scenarios and refine financial forecasts
• Monitor project spend against budgeted estimates and prepare performance summaries for stakeholders
• Support value optimization initiatives by identifying cost reduction opportunities without reducing project scope

• Solid grasp of construction processes, material specifications, and labor workflows
• Hands-on competence with estimation software and standard office productivity tools

• Articulate communicator able to explain cost drivers and financial implications to nontechnical audiences
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or equivalent professional experience
