Spa Manager – Fantastic Opportunity

Responsibilities

We are representing a luxury hospitality organization in Bury St Edmunds seeking an experienced Spa Manager to lead their wellness operation. This is a permanent, full-time role at 40 hours per week.

As Spa Manager, you will oversee all aspects of the spa's daily operations, including:

• Managing treatment room operations and ensuring seamless service delivery
• Leading, motivating, and developing the spa team to maintain excellence
• Taking full ownership of the spa budget and driving financial performance
• Creating and managing staff rotas to ensure appropriate coverage
• Overseeing stock control and ordering of treatment products
• Developing and executing in-house marketing strategies to promote treatments to guests
• Welcoming guests and conducting consultations to tailor treatments to individual needs
• Handling guest feedback and resolving concerns professionally and promptly
• Performing treatments in accordance with brand standards
• Actively promoting and selling spa treatments and retail products with knowledgeable recommendations
• Maintaining strict health and safety protocols throughout the spa environment

What We're Looking For

Our client requires a qualified spa professional with demonstrated leadership capabilities:

• Previous experience as a Spa Manager within a destination spa or hotel spa setting
• A recognized spa qualification such as Spa UK NVQ Level 3, ITEC, CIBTAC, CIDESCO, or equivalent in beauty treatments and massage
• Experience with premium product lines is highly desirable (training will be provided)
• Genuine passion for spa and wellness with the ability to share expertise with guests
• Excellent attention to detail and strong knowledge of health and safety procedures
• Commitment to creating relaxing, comfortable, and professional guest experiences
• Strong communication skills for guest consultations and team leadership
• Applicants must already have the legal right to live and work in the UK, as this role does not offer visa sponsorship
