Teamleiter Fahrzeugbewertung – Großraum Hamburg (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential automotive technology client in the Hamburg region. This is a field-based Team Leader role for Vehicle Assessment, overseeing operations across Northern Germany.

You will lead a regional team of vehicle assessors, serving as their primary contact for vehicle intake, customer interactions, and process questions. Your leadership approach combines hands-on field work with team development and quality assurance.

Team Leadership and Quality Management:

• Lead and develop vehicle assessors across your region
• Maintain and advance quality standards for vehicle assessments
• Conduct spot-checks of assessment reports and evaluations
• Analyze complaints and implement corrective measures
• Track team performance through KPIs and present insights to management

Team Development:

• Conduct regular one-on-one meetings focused on performance and growth
• Onboard new team members and transfer technical knowledge
• Provide ongoing coaching in assessment techniques and customer interaction

Field Assessment Work:

• Regularly participate in vehicle assessments using digital evaluation technology
• Represent the organization professionally during dealer interactions
• Maintain customer relationships at eye level with automotive trade professionals

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Completed technical apprenticeship in automotive sector (Kfz-Meister, Kfz-Mechatroniker, Fahrzeuglackierer, or Karosserie- und Fahrzeugbaumechaniker)
• Minimum one year of team leadership experience with a hands-on approach
• Experience conducting vehicle assessments, appraisals, or condition inspections
• Strong eye for detail in technical evaluation
• Comfortable working with KPIs: recognizing patterns, drawing conclusions, and presenting findings clearly
• Professional presence in customer-facing situations and entrepreneurial mindset
• German language proficiency at C2 level
• Valid Class B driving license
• Affinity for digital tools and AI-assisted workflows to enhance team productivity

Preferred:

• Experience managing geographically distributed teams
• English language skills at B2 level
