Role Overview
This is a hands-on senior leadership position where you'll own the design, implementation, and evolution of our DevOps infrastructure, cloud platforms, and deployment automation. You'll drive modernization initiatives, mentor junior engineers, and ensure our systems meet rigorous standards for reliability, security, and performance.
Core Duties
- Design and deploy cloud infrastructure using industry-standard tools and platforms
- Build and optimize continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines
- Manage containerization, orchestration, and microservices architecture
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to maintain system health
- Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance
- Establish security best practices, automate compliance checks, and manage infrastructure-as-code
- Mentor and guide junior DevOps engineers and coordinate across cross-functional teams
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or systems engineering experience
- Demonstrated expertise with major cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
- Strong proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools including Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible
- Hands-on experience with containerization using Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes
- Advanced knowledge of CI/CD tools and pipeline automation frameworks
- Solid understanding of networking, security, and database administration
- Experience with Linux system administration and shell scripting
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in distributed teams
